Colorway

A drop tray for four full-size folders, laid flat show side or clip side up. It's built from six interlocking pieces that lock together without glue, tape or hardware, so nothing rattles, slides or scratches.

Holds: Four folding knives in 5.94" × 2.05" pockets, 0.86" deep. Sized for full-size production and semi-custom folders like CRK, Hinderer, Benchmade and Zero Tolerance, including wide profiles and oversized flipper tabs.

Heads up: Knives shown in photos are for display only and not included.

Why it works

  • Soft where it touches the knife. Each pocket is a TPU insert, so scales and finishes don't get marked when you drop gear in.
  • Grips the desk. A thick solid TPU base keeps the tray from sliding and deadens the impact of dropped gear.
  • Nothing to come loose. The PETG-CF (carbon fiber reinforced) frame and TPU base lock the four inserts in place mechanically. No adhesive to fail over time.
  • Stacks securely. The base of one Catch seats into the frame lip of the tray below without shifting or tipping.
  • Made by a collector. Designed, tested and printed in Kentucky by a fellow knife collector.

The Vanguard system: the Catch, Array and Cover share the same 9.92" × 6.73" footprint. Stack an Array under a Catch, run two Catches on a nightstand, and top any tray with a Cover.

Each colorway is a small-batch run. When a color pairing sells out, it may not come back.

Will my knife fit?
The pockets are 5.94" long, 2.05" wide and 0.86" deep, which fits most full-size production folders. Running something especially wide or thick? Send me the specs and I can confirm before you order.

Does it stack with the Vanguard Array?
Yes. The Catch stacks with the Array and with other Catch trays, and the Vanguard Cover fits on top.

Can I swap insert colors later?
No. Once the frame locks over the base, the inserts are captive, so the edition you pick is permanent.
