The Mazda CX-50's factory cupholders weren't sized for a 40oz Stanley. This bottle holder seats on the console ledge next to them and holds large tumblers and water bottles upright, matched to the CX-50 interior so it looks like it came with the car.
Fits: Mazda CX-50, 2023–2026, all trims. Holds Stanley 40oz, Owala FreeSip 24oz and 32oz, Yeti Rambler, Hydro Flask, and most bottles up to 4" in diameter.
Heads up: This holder can't be used together with third-party cupholder liners, inserts or console covers. Remove those before installing so it can seat directly on the console.
Why it works
- One holder for every bottle you own. The optional Universal Fit Kit (SLIM ring, WIDE ring and a solid bottom insert) dials in a rattle-free fit for 40oz, 32oz or 24oz bottles, wide or slim.
- Won't warp in a summer car. Printed in ASA-Carbon Fiber, stable up to 200°F in direct sun, unlike PLA or PETG printed alternatives.
- Protects your console. Soft TPU padding at every contact point keeps it from scuffing the CX-50 trim.
- Looks factory. A non-reflective textured matte black that blends into the CX-50 interior.
- Made by a Mazda Enthusiast. Designed and printed in small batches in Kentucky.
How the fit kit works
The 4" opening holds large tumblers and wide bottles as-is. For narrower bottles, press the WIDE or SLIM bumper ring onto the rim to close the opening down. For bottles with a base under 3", drop in the solid bottom insert to give them a floor to sit on.
All three pieces go in by hand in seconds and come back out whenever you switch bottles.
Install
- Find the ledge next to your factory cupholders.
- Push the holder as far back toward the shifter as it will go.
- Press down firmly until it's snug.
No tools, no adhesive. It lifts out the same way it went in.

FAQ
Will it fit my CX-50 trim?
Yes. The console layout is the same across every 2023–2026 CX-50 trim, so there's one version for all of them.
Will it fit a CX-5, CX-30 or other Mazda?
No. It's shaped to the CX-50 console specifically, and other Mazda models have a different console and mounting area.
Can I use it with my cupholder liners or console cover?
No. It needs to sit directly on the factory console to fit correctly, so remove any third-party liners, inserts or covers first.
It feels loose. What's wrong?
Almost always it wasn't pushed all the way back toward the shifter before pressing down. Pull it out, slide it fully back, and press again.

The cup holder location in cx50 (hybrid) is a bit awkward and limits bottle height. This cup holder fits and definitely allows for wider and/or taller bottle without blocking the climate control.

Fits perfectly and very sturdy. Comes with two rings to adjust the size, so it can hold smaller cups as well. It’s has no problem holding my 40 oz water bottle.

I have a 2026 Mazda CX-50 and I love it but they really dropped the ball on the cupholders, in a world of gigantic water bottles. This item is a great solution to a very small problem. Shown is my 40oz Owala.
Item was shipped within 24 hours. USPS lost my package for over 10 days but it was finally recovered and delivered 2 days later. Exactly what I needed for a 32-oz Hydroflask so that it can stay in one place rather than rolling around in the passenger's seat. The Hydroflask does sometimes shift around a bit in the cup holder while driving, but it's not a big deal. Fast shipping, great packaging, the works.

For the most part , I love the new bottle holder. It’s the best solution on the market for the Mazda cx-50. However , the one thing I would like to see improved is that my stanley 40 ounce cup’s lid rubs against the dashboard , just slightly , but I’m afraid it may cause wear /rub damage over time to the dash. Maybe putting it a slight offset angle into the design of the holder would be enough to mitigate. We’re talking millimeters. Otherwise , it’s a fantastic design !
If you’re hesitant to pull the trigger on this, don’t. I had high standards, but this product absolutely surpassed them between the exceptional build quality and the premium, thoughtful packaging. It’s rare to find something crafted with such clear attention to detail that looks and functions even better than described—this was easily one of my best purchases and worth every penny. Best decision ever to order this additional cup holder. Happy I discovered this on a Mazda forum. I am a huge water drinker and I'm not in love with the cup holders in my new Mazda CX-50. Today is the first day I'm testing the new cup holder out. It's perfect. I am using the yeti (think it's the 30 oz cup) with a handle and it fits beautifully. Great cup holder! Fits right in place and holds my bigger water bottler that otherwise hits the heated seating when in the original cup holders. I did add self adhesive felt where the piece hangs from the center console just in case it starts to scratch from removal.
