The MATERIUM Universal Phone Holder mounts to any flat hard surface — console, door panel, dash, center stack — and stays there through heat, vibration, and daily use. Slim enough that you'll stop noticing it. Secure enough that you won't have to.
Two Sizes
Regular — fits phones up to 3.50" wide and 0.90" thick. Fits iPhone Pro Max, Samsung Ultra models, and most standard cases.
XL (Extra Large) — fits phones up to 3.75" wide and 1.25" thick. Built for large rugged cases, wallet cases, and thicker phones.
Not sure which size? Go XL — the extra room doesn't hurt, and you won't have to wonder if your case fits.
What Makes It Different
Built for extreme heat — Printed in engineering-grade ASA, rated for 212°F. Won't warp, won't sag, won't discolor sitting in direct sun. Standard printed mounts in PLA or PETG can't say the same.
Ventilated honeycomb sides — Constant airflow to your phone during GPS navigation and charging. Phones run cooler in the holder than they do sitting in a cupholder with no airflow.
Built-in cord management — A precision-molded notch routes your charging cable out of the way. Plug in and go, no cord on the floor.
Low profile by design — Not just thin because it's easier to design that way. Thin because a holder that sticks out is a holder that gets in the way. This one disappears into your interior.
Removable and repositionable — One side of the 3M VHB-backed hook-and-loop strip bonds permanently to your surface. The holder pulls off that base anytime — reposition it, swap it to another car, or replace it without touching the surface mount.
How It Mounts
The included strips use genuine 3M VHB (Very High Bond) adhesive on one side and hook-and-loop on the other. The VHB side bonds to your surface. The holder attaches to the hook-and-loop side and can be removed anytime.
- Prep — Clean the surface with the included alcohol pad. Let it dry completely.
- Apply — Press the 3M VHB side firmly against your surface for 30 seconds.
- Cure — Allow 24 hours before loading the holder. Cold environment? Warm the surface with a hair dryer first for a stronger initial bond.
Works on any hard flat plastic surface: consoles, door panels, dash fascia, center stacks, boat interiors, RV walls. Not recommended for leather, silicone, or heavily textured soft-touch surfaces.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will it damage my interior?
The 3M VHB strip bonds to your surface permanently, but the holder detaches from that strip cleanly. If you ever want to remove the base strip, gentle heat (hair dryer) softens the adhesive and it peels off most surfaces without damage. We don't recommend trying to remove it from painted or delicate surfaces.
Will it work on my dash?
It depends on your dash surface. It works well on hard plastic — most consoles, door cards, and center stacks. It's not recommended for leather, soft-touch rubber-coated surfaces, or anything heavily textured. When in doubt, test a small inconspicuous spot first.
My phone has a big case. Which size should I get?
If your case is a standard slim or folio case, Regular fits most. If it's a rugged case (OtterBox Defender, UAG, Lifeproof), go XL. At 1.25" internal depth, XL handles most rugged cases comfortably. Still not sure? Send us a message — we'd rather help you get the right size than have you guess.
Can I use it horizontally?
The holder is designed for vertical orientation with the phone slot at the top. A separate horizontal side-load version is also available in the MATERIUM shop if that fits your space better.

I don't have any stars associated with customer service because the product is as described, pictured and perfect. The shipping was on time. The materials used is solid. It came with 2 very strong sticky back Velcro strips to attach to back of phone holder and to side of your car's center console. There are even indention's on the holder, so no need to measure or line up the Velcro strips. I'm impressed.

Great customer service with answering questions I had before I placed my order. My Samsung S25 Ultra fits perfectly in the XL holder.
Now finding a place to attach this in my 2025 Subaru Outback Limited, was a different story. My plan was to place to right of my driver seat against the wall, but after looking, I noticed the wall wasn't flat like it needed to be. It has an angle to it.
So there was only one place that it would fit. Hopefully it'll work out and I will be able to reach it easily. That was to the right of steering wheel under the dash. I haven't tried it out yet as I just installed it this afternoon and wanted to let it adhere well before placing my huge cell in it. Hahaha ha 😆
Perfect for what I needed in my cockpit. Without dedicated storage space for my iPhone in my cockpit I was looking for something, light, durable and easily mounted. I opted to use 3M Command adhesive strips to easily remove and relocate if I find a different position is needed. I'll soon mount the other in the rear cockpit area.

I have spent a lot of time picking up my phone from under my feet in the car when I hit the brakes and it slides off whatever it's on and ends up under my foot or the gas pedal on the brake pedal I didn't know I needed this until I saw it on Etsy I have not put it in my truck yet but I know for a fact that it will work beautifully I just received it today 10-30 -25 but I will be installing it in my truck tomorrow for an excursion into town on Friday they have multiple sizes I got the extra large which means that I can put the field notes in a pen and my phone in there and it will all stay in place can't wait to install it and use it if you need a place to put your phone because you have the same problems I do I would suggest buying this going to their site on Etsy and look at their selection and buy it

This has been really useful for me. I think it's one of those things that you can't fully appreciate until you're like "oh wow this is so much better!" I added some thin foam to the inside to protect the phone as I drop it in and as it sits in the holder, but I am not exaggerating when I say this is very helpful. I mounted it on the passenger side of the center console so it's out of my way but it's also not in the way of the passenger either. I use it every time I drive. A+ product! Thank you!
